ours were hot, humid and queer with fishing at Labrador Nature Reserve. Hot and humid, the usual of Singapore’s weather. Queer, with 2 sea urchin-like worms being caught. Disgusting enough for me, as my close friends would know, I freak out at the sight of worms!
The kids played hard, ball bouncing, sidewalk crayons coloring, poking, pinching the fish and seasnails caught by another family. It’s great afterall, spending the quality time with family on New Year Day.
We had a good view from the park. The arrival of Star Cruise Virgo and also the Departure of the AIDA
Yep! It takes months for me to come back and update this blog of mind. GEEZ. Have totally neglected penning down the kids progress, updating my creative work. It’s never gonna be so easy now with the daily growing demands of the kids and also the work commitments. Especially so for the job I am in. Daily drive and by the time I reach home, I just feel like plonking down on the couch and not even move!
Ok, enough of the lamenting and now, the photoblog of the Christmas Eve Party we had over at my place. Always an enjoyment spending time with family.
Tired waiting out for the party to start
Some Serious Fishing Talk….
The Grandpa with the kids, playing Wii
our family time, family shot is great!
Princess Aval
Noting that Princess Grace is not in the photo as she’s unwell that day and was so grouchy throughout the whole week. The family stayed till 2yish in the morning and by then Grace was asleep. My sweetie was plaque with mouthful of ulcers and it was so tough for her to go through, imagining even for adult it’s gonna be a killing one with a couple of ulcers. My gal is totally strong and such high pain of threshold to go through this at her age of 2 yrs 4 months.
I was intending to bring the kids for the Chipmunks 2 Movie but then Seth was down with high fever on Christmas Day. HIAZ! Just the sort of untimely event. Both my hubby and I was panicky over the fever as Seth temperature shot up to 40.3 deg C. We manage to sponge him down. Thus for BOXING DAY, we just had to be homebound and have the kids well recovered.
Continuing on with our photoblog, here’s another series we took at Orchard last week.
Hope you had a wonderful time spent with your family during the season of giving, Peace and Joy follows throughout the days of your life and a bountiful 2010 ahead!
Leaving you this video of why we celebrate Christmas.
and I was hoping to embellish more of the layout no. 2, however, I guess still, with so much on hands, I did not really know which to use or where I’ve stuff them too. Anyway, I am in the mood of stamping, especially with my new stamps from USC.
Used : AC Thickers,Sassafras Lass, SEI PP, Art Declassified stamps, USC stamps
Afternoon, Seth’s swimming class at LeGenda. Kids swam in the raining day and with the rain, I think they would enjoy even more as all of them refuse to get out of the pool! HA! After the swim, the boys got together at Aiden’s and started to paint… BOY! a mess did they make but still manageable while the mommies and my Olive Tree keep telling them, “don’t do this, don’t do that!” Isn’t it defeating the purpose of them being CREATIVE!? With June’s reminder, we stopped being critical and let them do what they want with the painting and stamping and finger painting. Some of the shots taken with them in their funny faces.
Not forgetting my lil’ princess, today she’s the cooking MAMA! Enjoying the kitchen set at KC’s place.
the Hello Kitty Fuji Instax 25 has arrived! Ooow.. I was so inspired to snap with it and I tried a shot in office. Taken my very first virgin shot of Cindy and Bee Kee. A bit washed out and I think the blurriness of the photo is due to my shaky hands, being hungry.. haahaha…
Here are the loot.
I managed to do a self portrait that turn out quite ok.
Also, the colors are pretty cool (muted) and the clarity in auto exposure is acceptable. The fun part of having a Instax is the instant you can see the output of your shot which gives the refreshing feel and eagerness to view how the shot will look like.
Anyway, I am now one happy woman, waiting to snap more at my sweet princess birthday party.
OOh, and I have also edited some photos of the kids, taken for the past weeks.
Eventful as Grace chipped her front tooth off when she ran and fell down, face flat, hitting her mouth. Heart pain!!
She cried badly and the left tooth chipped in awkward ways that resulted in a very sharp pointed tooth. Need to send her to see the dentist soon.
We had quite a long wait at the Esplanade Theatre by the Bay. It was a good area where we were still able to watched the parade happenings and also catch the sea activities by the Navy and Air Force. It was Grace first NDP event and she was restless, sweaty. Despite her broken tooth, she ate quite a bit of tidbits, munching happily with her cousins. Here are some photos taken by my Olive Prince nephew and me.
It just put one in a happy mood when one’s mail packages arrived. 3 books received and thanks a1books.com for sending my books in good condition.
Ed went back to office and packed. While I brought Seth to act3′s speech & drama trial class. My lil’ prince didn’t really fancy the class and was pretty shy throughout the class. Met Li-sa and Megan, so coincident!
After class, we head to national library with KC and family. Spent a long while there. Seth and Jasper had their pizza making session at KC’s place with June being so ever patient with the kids.
I had a good sweat out at range with KC. Practicing my strokes as will be going for a golf session this coming week. Recent weeks have been spending on books and stuffs. Really have to get my crafty ideas put into action!
The flu season is back and the kids are down once again. Hope they recover soon.
“Volvo very nice leah.” That’s the repeated sentence that Seth would say when he see my brother’s S60. So what do we do, we got him the 1:18 Volvo C70 Coupe silver to play with.
