Nothing beats the support from the family

My Mighty Champion

Asleep finally. But I feel heartache having grilled him through his Chinese revision and he coughing all the way to do it. He too, packed his file for tomorrow's MS class. This boy is playful but he is also meek. Though he is put under such pressure by me, especially to get his things in order, he never grumbles of the stuffs we asked him to do. Many a time, we put up a harsh front just to get him down to his homework and revision. Going through the times of us reprimanding, reasoning and seemingly giving up, he would still feel the attachment towards us. This makes me thing of the verse from Our Daddy God, Psalms 25:9-10

The meek He will guide in judgment; and the meek He will teach His way. 10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
My mighty champion, no matter how you have fair in your studies, I'll never give up on you, I'll never stop loving you. For you are the precious gift from our Daddy God, your nature and personality carve into Jesus' likeness. Know that We love you so much.

PAPS | mother & daughter

My sweet princess drew me this picture and shown it to me while I was having my dinner at home. It was a late dinner, as usual after the day's work. It was a draining day with deadlines. I was filled with thoughts of finishing up the deadlines task and told her to wait. She was pestering me again but I told her to put in on the side table. Only the next morning that I saw the drawing she drew and it just warmth my heart. However, the feeling followed by remorse of not paying attention to her when she was filled with eagerness to show me the picture she has drawn for us. Sometimes, we don't slow down to smell the flowers and take a moment to immerse in the things that are most important to us. When the flowers stop blooming, we realize we have missed the beautiful moments of their lives. These apply to our personal lives and to our loved ones around us. We are always busy with mundane stuffs, surfing the net, on our mobile devices. Reading news, rumors and what not. Which we forgot to put down all these and focus our attention to our precious darlings and loved ones. Should we question ourselves what's our purpose of living in these world and what's most important to us? Do we wait till all these important things-personal time and relationships are faded away, that we are regretful?

Hiatus II

Things at homefront and work has been real crazy for me, at least. Getting the year started with lots of activities going on at work, SKO, virtual learning, pipelines, business plans and what have you for a account manager is a rat race. Almost into the 2/3 completion of Q1 and hoping go start the year with good nos, has taken a toll on me. Constantly feeling the pressure and now seems to have the invisible Sun Wukong's head ring around me, tightening with each breathe in or each bend of the neck to pick up stuffs. Terrible feeling....... Tried to distress by baking and did a couple of baking projects. Praying the anxiety feeling goes away soon and good things awaits. Grace had a sprained right foot on Tuesday night after jumping off the bed, following the monkey business of her brother. Got us so worried how to handle the injury. We monitored her and kept her away from school. Thank God that today she's better and manage to walk and run even. Thus, concluded the very whiny, I cannot walk, I want to carry." stage. Hope you have a wonderful Friday to spend and enjoy the weekend!
