Finally after months of no scrapping, I’ve completed a layout during my crop session with my crop buddies!
So here’s one to celebrate the return of mojo!

Trying the best to clear the work from home, the ORACLE system is getting on my nerves and I have to browse other internet sites, while waiting for it to load the configurations. Donkey minutes to do that. System really sucks.
Anyway, the hot topic now is AIR TRAVEL. Right, Especially with the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull Volcano. The standstill of air traffic control, airlines losses, hotels boom, passengers stranded for route and enroute to Europe.
Here are some sites for keeping abreast of the happenings if you are traveling to that part of the world, for planned business trips or for leisure.
Athens International Airport
Frankfurt Airport Flight Updates
Heathrow Airport
Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport-Rome Airport
Paris Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport
Some awesome pictures taken from Eyjafjhallajokull area.

here’s some travel journal ideas to share if you are planning for on the road documentation. I’ve wanted to do mine for the past few trips but it’s really futile. Empty pages back home, if I ever try, i’ve only manage a page of words and no pictures to tell the story. I guess this trip, I’ll do more of it. Bring along my instax as well!
Shimelle Laine‘s Travel Journal

There’s an extensive tutorial of how the journal was made from here.
Ali’s version of Travel Journal

I really like the Amy Tangerine‘s free spirited type, especially good for less preparation to bind, and glue the pages. There’s one on Brazil and one on Boston-NYC trip. Her simple pre-trip prep:
1. make a little book before the trip
2. take along some supplies
3. glue stuff in as I go.

And if you are really really too busy for a self make travel journal, try this, buy it from Moleskine online. All that’s necessary to know about the city is in the book, it’s good for leisure or for business.

However, i especially love the Cahier Book from Moleskine. This would make a good Travel Journal. You can even alter the cover once you are home to touch up the journal.

So, let me not be ambitious, my road trip will then be pack as follow (hope I will document faithfully!)
1. Moleskine Cahier Large Notebook
2. Tape Glue
It was another good time spent with my crop buddies. We have great laugh, nespresso and McD. It’s a matter of quality time spent, sharing our daily moments of lives. Thanks, Anne, Jen for the wonderul time again and a notable one for our new year day.
The 2 layouts below was completed. Being the slow scrapper, I have only managed to complete the last layout, Year 2009 by mid afternoon today. Nonetheless, feel very accomplished.
I’ve scrapped myself happy!

This album was created with the help from Jen, my crop buddy. It’s really simple to do and the effect is very different. I have made it into a photo frame stand and displayed on my TV console area.
Thanks, Sis for sharing the know how.

and it has been months! almost half a year that a layout actually is born. Terrible me, hoarding stash and not creating much.
here’s my *first encounters* for Grace
Used: Pink Paislee , Iamginisce, Sassafras Lass PP, Unity Stamps Co. KOM 03/09 and 06/09 rubber stamps, American Crafts Thickers, Making Memories Flower Patch Brads

Thanks, Brooke for your quick action to my lost kits and the goodies that came along. They made my day. So inspired to scrap and stamp all the lovely designs which I have been drooling for so long!

I would want to know what had gone wrong, it’s the wordpress problem or it’s Ecto that’s acting up on me. Most of my May blog posting are missing. Duh!?! I have to repost one by one again by copy and paste the older post on my local machine, then delete. Errors like ID look up problem (of course as they were not in my server what!), pictures went missing etc.
Anyway, here are the completed LOs of the Celine’s LO Workshop.

How was your mother’s day? loads of love and sweet nothings shower for your mama? I had a super ME time of pre-mother’s day celebration by rewarding myself a whole day workshop of 3 Celine Navarro‘s classes at Made with Love. It was inspiring session especially when Sis came and we had fun time doing the classes, LO class and also the metal album is very refreshing.
love the talented ladies from france as they are so unassuming and approachable. Karine Cazenave is Celine’s travel buddy I guess and they are like long term pals, by the way they tease each other. It’s so funny seeing Celine chiding Karine during class.
here are some of the photos taken during the classes.

super duper fun chenta
