The year starts off with the awesome Sunday 1st service at New Creation. It’s always good to be in the house of God and immersing in His words, praise and worship Him who has given us the blessedness of life.

The key passage for today is:
Jeremiah 17:7-8

7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The revelation is so great that the feeding of the words of God and the goodness of God will manifest in your life that comes with it just imprint in my heart. Thank You Jesus, for who you are and what you’ve done for us that we can be in this place filled with your unceasing fruitfulness!

Let this year be a year of great happenings with restorations!

Blessed 2012 my friends!

It’s a great seclusion getaway when we practically cut ourselves from the work call. Immersing In the nature and and greenery of the island. Kids have fun with the daily swim, no school and also spending time with us. I believe strongly that spending the quality time with them brings the confidence out of them where they are more welling to try new things.

Both of the open up fairly quickly even though in a foreign land. When they were greeted by the friendly staffs from the resort, they will also talk to the staffs. We have placed them for an hour of childcare with the resort and went for SPA. They have behaved well and enjoyed their time in the play zone.
Grace has also started to swim with float by herself and not worrying we are not holding her. She’s adventurous.
Here are some shots taken from the holiday.

since I last went to a chalet. I am talking about YEARS! Reminiscing the time in our teens, where going chalet, overnight, barbecue, ghost stories….. Honestly, this has to be the worst unplanned chalet that I’ve got myself into. It’s suppose to be a chalet which my eldest brother and his family to spend their quality time. While, I am looking for a venue to have a mini birthday party for Seth. Really mini=family only party. Not too much to ask for right?

However, ALAS! Some issues cropped up and then we had the chalet to ourselves, with my eldest brother and his youngest daughter only. :( Nonetheless, the laid back feeling is great, shopping for bbq, thrilling! (ya, ya… as if I still have energy to really think of the food to prepare) The sad part of it, I have to get to work tomorrow morning, have a presentation for customer and then half day afternoon off to prepare the bbq stuffs. short time, short party, head home and work on friday again. What a Chalet holiday it is. It’s a waste of such big CHALET (bungalow to me) that the occupants are not many, just the two kids running up and down the stairs, my god-daughter, burying herself with her assignment, yada yada stuffs from work and from her mom’s. Poor gal.

hope to be back giving some photoblog of the chalet. Also, will need to be working late again for work, and preparing the house for party tomorrow.

It’s been a good holiday for us, literally from the West to the East and down towards the South-East of USA. Love the time spent with the kids and Ed. Not forgetting our Bi yearly visit to Jesse’s. Quality time. I wish time would be slower and it’s always a pain to think the holiday is coming to an end. Was just talking to Jesse the other day that it seems only yesterday that we were just hastily planning where to go, and VOOMZ! the holiday and time spent just fly by in a twinkling of an eye.

Both kids had a fabulous time traveling and Grace is really cool taking flights as if it’s taking a car ride. Just sharing some of the photos from San Francisco and New York.

Being in New York, makes me feel so much as if we are in a movie. Even now, it’s so much easier to relate to Seth, the places we’ve visited. Like, “Seth, remember this place?” Seth’s all smiley and replied, “Yes! we’ve been there, New York!” Only if we could walk more and travelled to Manhattan. Nonetheless, the first experience in New York, the feel of the bustling city and the New Yorkers footsteps are quite an extraordinary one.

More updates coming up…. Hope your weekend be restful.

These are some of the photos taken when we were on vacation at Sentosa. It was quite a fun time for both Seth and Grace. Though we didn’t manage to get both of them in the pool, but we manage to get them into the bath-tub and swim together. :)

First for Grace in her Swimsuit. Getting a bit small to fit on her though. hahahaha!

Will post more of the trip photos to my Flickr account.

I need to be really discipline to update the milestones of the kids. Otherwise they will surely be forgotten when the time passes by.

Grace started to wave bye-bye when she’s almost 8 months. The adorable part of it is, when she waves, she will then clap her hands, as if praising herself that she waves bye-bye.
Indeed when you have repetition actions, words with your babies, they will learn really fast.
She started off learning how to clap her hands when I was singing to her, clap, clap clap your hands when we are traveling in the car. That was when she’s 7 months old and after a few session, she grasped the action and I am amazed she managed to clap without missing the hands.
Grace begins to call ma-ma when she’s about 7 months old too. She’s one fierce gal when she cries. Seeing all
her tears rolling, screaming and also quivering lower lips, really breaks the heart. Geez,

Seth, the singer at home. Day in and out, he sings and talks and talks. Now, he is able to also play with his animals and do imaginary talk with them. Sometimes, it’s so comical to see him talk to his animals in an adult manner.
I’ve started to do painting with him. He enjoys the session and hope that he’ll pick up the interest and come to love to draw. Though he is still unable to really write well, he loves to do scribbling here and there. His pincher grip is good and able to hold the pencil quite well. I always enjoy seeing him in full concentration when he writes on the paper.

Ok, time to get ready, A long day at work. :( This week onwards there will be loads of things to be settled.I am so looking forward to June. :)

We end up going to this Chicken Rice Ball Restaurant. Why? Because there was such a long queue. haha! SIL said they served better food compared to the previous we saw.

on the table
These were what we have ordered. Spread of chicken and rice…balls…. The balls were light fish balls size, with melt in your mouth feeling. Alas! It lacks of ginger taste.

Since a long weekend, we decided to take a short trip up to Malacca and Kluang (Marg’s hometown) Just feel like getting out of SG and have a break. We left SG during lunch time on April 6 in Jon’s car. Since half a day has gone, we went to Kluang first, checked into the hotel and relax ourselves. This will be a 2nd trip for Seth and me, whereas Ed has not been to Kluang before. It’s a small little town of probably 240 thousand population. It’s in the middle of Johor. Kluang is quite like SG in the 1970s, still not very developed. We stayed in the tallest hotel/building of Kluang, which is 14th Storey high. Here’s a little read up of Kluang if you are keen to know more.

Road Trip to Malacca
In the car, rod trip to Malacca, isn’t that uncle looking?

Okie, need to rest my PB and also my tired mind…hee…will update with more photoes of our trip and happenings. May the week be wonderful for you and me….

After thought from the trip:
Did not think much about taking up part time with the co. as boss have asked to consider. However, after seeing certain things and talking, reading from friend’s and sil’s advice, I have come to terms that I view my family as utmost priority. The well-being of Seth and his baby brother are my most concern and I believe that no amount of money can take away the precious time, I am going to spend with them, nurturing them.
