NDP 2009, eventful and memorable.
Eventful as Grace chipped her front tooth off when she ran and fell down, face flat, hitting her mouth. Heart pain!!
She cried badly and the left tooth chipped in awkward ways that resulted in a very sharp pointed tooth. Need to send her to see the dentist soon.
We had quite a long wait at the Esplanade Theatre by the Bay. It was a good area where we were still able to watched the parade happenings and also catch the sea activities by the Navy and Air Force. It was Grace first NDP event and she was restless, sweaty. Despite her broken tooth, she ate quite a bit of tidbits, munching happily with her cousins. Time to rest, had a long day teaching my god daughter in card making. Fruitful and fun… hope this week pass by smoothly and yours too.

This year was spent with the kids and Ed. Usual of shopping, eating, shopping, eating….
Spent a fair bit but it was bargain purchases with MUJI sale, John Little Sale….seems like everywhere is on sale!
A big damage done the night before when i got the whole collection of Claudine Hellmuth’s acrylic paints…hahahaha
Anyway, I wanted to take a shot of us in May and here’s the latest.
I think I look so weird in this photo. Anyway, as long as the kids and Ed looks good and love the way Grace poses…so cool.
4 years of motherhood. So much to hope for, so much that I’ve went through with the kids. Especially for Grace who has gone through hernia surgery, bacterial infection leading to hospital stay. I would still say, it’s lot more joy than anything. As I watch the two of them grow in leaps and bounds, I wish time would stand still sometime for me to enjoy the stage they are at. Motherhood means to me:

So much of the things that gives me the experience of motherhood that nothing can trade off. Also, that I realise the effort, the love, the care that my mother has showered unto us, it’s all unconditional and makes you appreciate and needing the love even more.

Happy mother’s day to all mama!
I did not manage to sleep much last night, effectively slept for about 2hrs? Woke up as early as 6+, weather was humid and hot with the rhythemic fan speed Ed has set as Grace’s unwell, I can probably die of heat stroke.
Anyway, I dragged them all from bed at 10 to 8am, clean up and we headed for McD breakfast. Thereafter, a ride at Sembawang Park. Seth has learnt how to cycle and wants to work him out a bit s that he has better stamina for swimming class.
