G:"Seth, you see, I used turquoise and blue to color the sea. very nice one."
S looked and turned away back to doing his stuff.
G:"Tomorrow, your teacher see the picture, will say, wow, S very nice coloring!"
G:"You tell teacher is you color it yourself. Don't say it's your Mei Mei color for you huh."
G:"Remember, must say you color it yourself."
Me: kept laughing to myself! Darn, she says the funniest expression.
I told the Daddy, and
Daddy asked her, "G, what did you just said."
I've downloaded it on 4th July and have not been using it much till I explored it today.
Love the App Design, the Colors and all the Overlays that are so suitable for crafters, creative designers.
Rhonna Farrer has launched the Rhonna Designs App for iPhone. You could get it at the AppStore.
I have always loved her Vintage Design and scrapbooking designs of ephemera frames and embellishments. She has also taught on bringing the photos to life by adding on of overlays of design frames, quotes and vintage icons. Her creativity and her digital skill is totally admirable.
The App allows us to add Overlays, Masks if you want to call it to our photos. As well as frames and quotes with varieties of fonts as well. You could find inspirational quotes for your photos, as we as customized one for telling the photos stories. What makes this App stands out from the rest? It's because the App is designed by one who knows what are the sentiments, the details that scrapbookers / crafters would add onto their photos. Therefore, the workflow is nicely executed.
Here are a few of my photos taken today using her Rhonna Designs App.
Am exciting to be able to add those and finally found a wonderful App that I could incorporate into my documenting of life.
This is so awesome! My DH bought a dozen Tiger Lager Beer and it came in a sweet crate-like packaging!
I've been in love with crates but they are far fetch for me as i do not have friends in wine business. Most often, I will ogle at the crates, appreciating the wood burnt design.
Thanks a bunch for my thoughtful DH!
Not forgetting to share, my first ever Pre-owned Typer! Crown 500.
I've tried a few typer and even on the lettera 32, cursive typer, I felt this one gives a snappy feel and the even typecast on the paper just captured my eyes.
The Lettera 32 definitely is off my budget! Lol!
Gonna put this into good use and add a different touch of flair to my creations.
Hope you had a good day and week ahead.
As for me, I am swamped with work, I don't know how I would survive this period. All I could lean towards is God's strength to pull me through! Amen!!
We were away in the first week of June holiday. Together with my brother's family, we stayed in the Serenity Spa Resort & Residence along Chalong Bay.
This time round we've booked a nice 2 rooms apartment overlooking the sea. Here's a video I've made. I've done a time lapsed video of the sky too.
For many of us who blog, I believe that we are constantly looking at mobility when we blog, sharing of our lives stories through social media platforms. Nothing beats having a photo that could tell a story.
I've been using my iPhone's camera more often than my DSLR, m4/3, instax. Moments captured by an iPhone are also being used to inspire a scrapbooking layout.
I've recently done 2 layouts using my iPhone's photos and the results are quite amazing in my opinion.
You can check them out here and here.
So what apps do I used for my iPhonegraphy?
I've been a faithful user of
I've bought most of the paks and I love the different photos that I've taken which gives me different moods and feels. When you shake your iPhone while using the app, it will set you random selection of lens, films and flashes, combine a surprisingly unexpected outcome of the scene that you try to capture.
There's even different camera cases that you could select to suit your style when you snap the moments!
The other App that I've recently chance upon is VSCO Cam. The user interface of the app is super cool and such well thought user-friendly gestures are rarely found in developers. Moreover, having been an established Visual Supply Co., who deals with filters of digital photos, I must say I am impressed with the presets that I can used to PP my captured moments.
Here is a review that you can read of the detail features of this app.
The next editing tool app that I used often is snapseed, by google. The moment this app is available, I downloaded and pretty impressed with the iPad version and how intuitive it allowed me to edit my photos, again by gestures. I could do a quick PP and then share out to the social media platforms I chose to, like instagram, Facebook, twitter etc.
After my editing of photos, I'll add further caption to make the photos more interesting as well as letting my audience know when the moment was captured. I've tried a few and I'm still inclined to use Phonto. It's a Ad-based text editing tool for photos and comes free. It does allow me to upload the fonts that I like and this is awesome! I could have handwriting fonts, doodling, dingbats etc!
That roughly sums up my iPhonegraphy process and I hope you would like the apps recommended and enjoy capturing the every moments! If you are sharing via socia media, of the photos ,captured, edited, do share with me.
There's this love for uniball Signo Pens, especially the white one which is very opaque against black / dark cardstocks.
Came upon the multicolored ones, angelic colors at popular bookstore near my place. Succumbed to buying them and tried it out at home. Very satisfied opaque colors against the black CS.
Get your hands on them, if you are near to any local bookstores / stationary shops.

Sunday, always a lovely start of the week as we worship our Daddy God in The Star. We had a guest speaker, Pastor Brian Houston today! He is from Hillsong Australia and today's message was pretty impactful. He preached about Glorious Ruins and this message was expound from the upcoming release of Hillsong 22nd album, Glorious Ruins in 2nd July. 😉 It's filled with so much of God's love when understanding of God's lifting us up in time of trials, and restoration of ruins like Jerusalem's temple.
After service, we went to RWS and wanted to utlised the vouchers before they expire. We were pretty aimless and snapping away like tourists. One such babe like this,
Then we saw Starbucks, newly renovated. Hopped in to chill off before we had for dinner.
So after much deliberation, Kind of settled with the Malaysia Food Streets.
In fact, I was thinking to do a review of the A3+ printer but guess the sleep bugs looking me up. I need to chill and sleep now. Will come back with the review soon.
Another inspired Layout from the Garden Girls, in Two Peas.
I've put in the colors and with the gesso applied to the cardstock, the Gel Crayons are now easier to apply and blend. However, with water, it tends to be very diluted and watercolor base.
I've used Mister Huey's and blended with the Claudine Hellmuth'sblank canvas. Mixed pretty well and gave off a pastel look behind the dark film strip.
All the words, titles are cut with Silhouette Cameo. The Mister Huey Mists were also dropped onto the cardstock to make the distress look.
Overall, quite like the outcome of the Layout. Got to tell myself, to keep the mojo running!
Have you been messing with colors lately? So overjoyed to came upon this STAEDTLER Glitter Gel Crayons @ our local bookstore today. I wasn't filled with much expectation but when I see that they have stated on the box, Gel Crayons, immediately I get my hands on one pack and was eager to try it out at home.
Then my journey of art class started. It's been such a long while for me to try messing with colors. Tonight's effect is pretty good I must say. Regardless, when will my Faber Castell Gelatos be arriving. 😉 Happy enough to lay my hands on one similar product to the Faber Castell. Following are quite self explanatory.
So much for now, I totally had fun in the process and gave me better insight of how to apply and mix my colors.
Enjoy the Process!
I love to see the creations of the crafters and scrapbookers online, they are refreshing and new techniques to learn from. Here are some that I came across today.
